Production Operative / FLT Driver

We are recruiting Production Operative for a well-established manufacturing company in the Chelmsley Wood area.The role involves a mix of production work, saw operation, and driving a counterbalance forklift.

Shift Pattern (Alternating)

• 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm
• 6am – 12pm and 12pm – 6pm Friday * Shorter working hours on Fridays
• Shift allowance paid on afternoons
• Temp to perm role

The Role

You will :

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move materials, load / unload deliveries, feed machines, and transport finished products

Receive full training to operate :

• Addison flat-bed automatic saw
• Ellumatic double-headed mitre saw
• Use a tablet to record production information
• Work to safety, quality and accuracy standards within a busy production environment

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
• Experience using machinery such as saws is advantageous, but not essential as full training is provided
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working alternating shifts
• Good attention to detail
