A well-established UK manufacturer specialising in high-security steel products and bespoke steel fabrication, supplying into government, custodial, and secure environments.

  • All machining is carried out in-house to high quality and accuracy standards.
  • We are seeking a part time experienced CNC CAD/CAM Programmer to support the workshop on a part-time, permanent basis.
  • The company are flexible on hours and it can be part time 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
  • Set, operate, and program CNC milling and turning machines
  • Produce precision components from engineering drawings and CAD models
  • Create and edit programs using Fusion 360
  • Carry out machine-side offsets, tooling changes, and adjustments
  • Maintain quality, tolerances, and safe working practices
Machines, Controls & Software
  • Dahlih 3-axis CNC Vertical Machining Centres Fanuc control
  • Hwacheon CUTEX 200 CNC Lathe Fanuc control (6–8" chuck work)
  • Fusion 360 CAD/CAM
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer
  • Strong experience with Fanuc-controlled CNC machines
  • Experience on both CNC mills and lathes
  • CAD/CAM programming experience (Fusion 360 preferred)
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail and quality
