Role Overview
Hands-on engineering assembly role working with metal components. You will build full products from start to finish, ensuring assemblies are accurate, properly fitted and meet strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble complete products from metal components.
- Work to build procedures using instructions on a PC.
- Use hand and powered assembly tools, including torque-controlled drivers.
- Ensure all fixings are correctly fitted and tightened to specification (no over-tightening).
- Carry out in-process and final quality checks.
- Work methodically to ensure correct assembly sequence and build accuracy.
- Initially work alongside another operative as part of training.
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, or engineering manufacturing.
- Ability to follow structured build procedures.
- Strong practical skills using hand and power tools.
