An established food production company based in Birmingham require an experienced packaging supervisor.

Duties:

  • Supervising eight people on a packaging / production line.
  • Deputising for the shift manager and supporting the packaging manager in the supervision and development of the packaging team.
  • Monitoring materials and stock using the SAP system.
  • Ensuring the lines run as efficiently as possible avoiding unnecessary downtime.
  • Complete daily department paperwork accurately.
  • Reporting faults and maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Packaging / production line supervisory experience.
  • Team leader skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Food and hygiene training an advantage.

Hours:

Rotating shifts: 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am Monday to Friday. This is a permanent position.
