- Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm
The Role
As part of our dedicated finishing department, you will apply precision paint finishes to aerospace components, ensuring compliance with strict industry and customer standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail and a background in specialist or small-component spraying.
Key Responsibilities
- Spray aerospace components to exacting standards and tight tolerances
- Prepare, mask, and prime components as required
- Mix and apply paint systems safely and efficiently
- Maintain tools, spray equipment, and work areas
- Complete job cards, work instructions, and associated paperwork accurately
Requirements
- Essential:
- Proven detailed quality paint spraying experience
- Ability to work to tight tolerances with high accuracy
- Competent with paperwork and job documentation
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in using DFT, WFT, surface profile gauges, and other measurement tools
- Experience with IRR and CARC products
- NADCAP experience
- Knowledge of AS9100 standards
Additional Information
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical skills test. Experience with aerospace or precision components is preferred due to the specialist nature of the work.
Automotive/bodyshop sprayers are welcome to apply, especially those with experience working on small or detailed components. If you do not have aerospace experience, please clearly highlight any relevant transferable skills and precision spraying work in your CV.
