An established security systems manufacturing company based in Tyseley require an experienced Access Control Engineer.

Access Control Engineer Duties:

  • Perform installations including the integration of access control systems (e.g. Paxton, Hikvision, Intratone).
  • Dis-connect and re-connects of door installations.
  • Service and install a range of door entry, warden call, automatic door/gate systems, CCTV systems (including IP/networked), and intruder alarms.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance to the above systems.
  • Pre installation site surveys to assess cable routes etc.
  • Visiting client locations and informing them of the functionality, care, and upkeep of their new installations.

Access Control Engineer Requirements:

  • An accreditation with ADSA, CAMEsafe, Tynetec CAI or equivalent.
  • Overview of different electronic locks, interlock and fob systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and system schematics.
  • CSCS or ECS card (preferred).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Access Control Engineer Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm with occasional earlier starts when required to visit clients. This is a permanent position with an immediate start.
