Try Tag Rugby is on the lookout for a Sports League Coordinator to help run and grow our social tag rugby leagues across London. This is a hands‑on role at the heart of our community. You will be responsible for delivering great weekly league experiences, leading referees and venue staff, and building strong relationships with players, pubs, and venues. Part operations, part people leadership, part community‑builder.

If you like being on your feet, taking ownership, and creating environments where people genuinely enjoy turning up every week, you will feel right at home.

What you will be doing:

  • Delivering and overseeing the weekly running of up to four leagues, plus administering additional leagues
  • Being the main point of contact for players, team organisers, referees, and pubs
  • Leading, managing and holding referees and Venue Supervisors accountable on shift
  • Owning league standards, culture, and player experience
  • Managing day‑to‑day league admin including fixtures, communications, duty reports, injuries, and cancellations
  • Supporting retention and growth by building strong relationships and spotting issues early
  • Supporting community marketing through posters, flyers, social content, and taster sessions
  • Delivering end‑of‑season presentations and helping foster a positive post‑match social scene
  • Carrying out basic first aid and venue health and safety checks when required
  • Supporting major events, tournaments, and wider business projects across the year

Working pattern:

  • Full‑time role, 35 hours per week
  • A mix of daytime admin and evening league delivery
  • Weeknight leagues usually run between 6:30–10pm
  • Some weekend work may apply depending on leagues
  • Hybrid working available where agreed
  • Based from our London office in Elephant & Castle, with leagues across Zones 1–3

What we are looking for:

  • Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure and decisive when plans change
  • Clear and confident in written and verbal communication
  • A proactive problem‑solver who takes ownership rather than passing issues on
  • Reliable, accountable, and trusted to follow things through
  • Comfortable managing large volumes of people and information
  • Confident using systems, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools
  • Genuinely interested in people, community sport, and creating great weekly experiences
  • Experience in sport, events, or community‑led environments is a bonus, but not essential.

Pay and benefits:

  • Salary £27,000–£29,000 depending on skills and experience, plus performance‑based bonus
  • 28 days statutory leave including public holidays, plus 5 company leave days
  • Time off in lieu in line with company policy
  • Expenses reimbursed in line with company policy
  • Access to Try Tag Rugby services in line with company policy
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Team socials and events
