Trutex is a leading supplier of school uniform. Over the summer we support schools with uniform distribution and exchange events. To assist with this we are looking for an Events Assistant to join us from 2nd June through to the end of August.

This is a temporary role to cover the period June to August (working days across Monday to Friday, hours as required by the business). The events are held at schools located in the north and central areas of England, predominately along the A1-M1 corridor but can be as north as Middlesborough, south as Nottinghamshire, east as Scunthorpe and west as Haydock.

You will be required to deliver stock to schools and set up for the event, parents will arrive within timeslots to collect their child's bundle of school uniform. You will be responsible for handing the correct bundle of uniform to the parent.

Full UK driving licence is essential, van will be provided.

  • Delivering stock to school distribution and exchange events (A1-M1 corridor) to supply school uniform to customers.
  • Manage own time to get to events as and when required.
  • Setting up the events, organising stock, lifting and moving boxes of garments.
  • May be required to hand out packs of uniform to parents.
  • Providing excellent customer service to customers.
  • Inventory counting.
  • Will be required to work long hours including evenings to support peak season.

About You:

  • Previous customer facing experience is required.
  • Clean UK driving licence.
  • Customer focused and an excellent communicator.
  • Hands on and hard working with a can-do attitude.
  • Well organised and good at prioritising multiple tasks.
  • Flexible and reliable – able to work long hours.
  • Able to lift and move heavy boxes.
  • Ability to work on your own.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy - meticulous for getting things right first time.
