The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

Trutex is a leading supplier of school uniform. Over the summer we support schools with uniform distribution and exchange events. To assist with this we are looking for an Events Assistant to join us from w/c 8th June through to the end of August.

This is a temporary role to cover the period June to August (working days across Monday to Friday, hours as required by the business). The events are held at schools located in the north and central areas of England, predominately along the A1-M1 corridor but can be as north as Middlesborough, south as Nottinghamshire, east as Scunthorpe and west as Haydock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending school distribution and exchange events (A1-M1 corridor) to supply school uniform to customers.
  • Manage own time to get to events as and when required.
  • Setting up the events, organising stock, lifting and moving boxes of garments.
  • Handing out packs of uniform to parents.
  • Providing excellent customer service to customers.
  • Inventory counting.
  • Will be required to work long hours including evenings to support peak season.

About You:

  • Previous customer facing experience is required.
  • Customer focused and an excellent communicator.
  • Hands on and hard working with a can-do attitude.
  • Well organised and good at prioritising multiple tasks.
  • Flexible and reliable – able to work long hours.
  • Clean UK driving licence – own car.
  • Able to lift and move heavy boxes.
  • Ability to work on your own.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy - meticulous for getting things right first time.
