This is a temporary role to cover the period June to August working set days across Monday to Friday, hours as required by the business, which include afternoon/evening and morning/afternoon events. The events are held at schools located in the north and central areas of England, predominately along the A1-M1 corridor but can be as north as Middlesborough, south as Nottinghamshire, east as Scunthorpe and west as Haydock.

You'll be required to drive stock to schools, set up for the event, serve student families during the event and pack up afterwards whilst working alongside other members of the events team. During the event you will be responsible for ensuring the family leave with the correct bundle of uniform items, after trying on required sizes. The events can be fast paced but at all times you must remain focussed on the task of providing excellent service to the families that attend the event. You will be representing Trutex at each event and in part the schools in which the events are held.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering stock to school exchange events (A1-M1 corridor)
  • Manage own time to get to events as and when required
  • Setting up the events, organising stock, lifting and moving boxes of uniform
  • May be required to hand out packs of uniform to student families
  • Providing excellent customer service to student families and the schools in which the events are held
  • Will be required to work long hours including evenings to support our peak season
  • Inventory counting

About You:

  • Previous customer facing experience is required
  • Clean UK driving licence
  • Customer focused and an excellent communicator
  • Hands on and hard working with a can-do attitude
  • Well organised and good at prioritising multiple tasks

  • Ability to work on your own
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy - meticulous for getting things right first time
