Clive Mark Schoolwear has been supplying school uniform for over 50 years, with a reputation for premium quality branded school clothes that are made to withstand the rigours of school life. As well as a fantastic range of school uniform and sportswear, we also stock a variety of bags and accessories and other useful “must haves”. We are currently looking for a part-time Store Assistant to join our Kings Heath store. Hours and shifts will vary across Monday to Sunday.
About the Job
- Provide support to the Store Management in the efficient day-to-day operations of the store to achieve or exceed the Sales Targets whilst delivering world-class customer service.
- Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service.
- Making sure that the products and store are well presented.
- Unpacking all products received and displaying the merchandise on the sales floor with the correct price in an efficient and productive manner.
- Helping our customers get just what they need.
- Handling cash and card transactions, taking orders and resolving customer queries.
- Working to the Clive Mark Customer Service standards to meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.
- Following company policy and procedures.
About You
- Friendly, helpful and customer-focused.
- Flexible to work different shifts across 7 days and up to 8pm in the Summer.
- Capability to forge a good working relationship with junior and senior staff members contributing to a winning team culture.
- Driven and motivated to meet sales targets.
- Displays a high level of integrity.
- Trustworthy and honest.
- Numerical with a good understanding of cash handling and till functionality.
- Previous retail experience is preferable.
What you need to know
- Variable hours per week - shifts Monday to Sunday with various start and finish times.
- Shop is open 9-5 in the winter and the Summer has longer hours with 1 late night a week and Sundays.
- National Minimum Wage.
