Clive Mark Schoolwear has been supplying school uniform for over 50 years, with a reputation for premium quality branded school clothes that are made to withstand the rigours of school life. As well as a fantastic range of school uniform and sportswear, we also stock a variety of bags and accessories and other useful “must haves”. We are currently looking for a part-time Store Assistant to join our Bearwood store. Hours and shifts will vary across Monday to Sunday.

About the Job

  • You will provide support to the Store Management in the efficient day-to-day operations of the store in order to achieve or exceed the Sales Targets whilst delivering world-class customer service.
  • Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service.
  • Making sure that the products and store are well presented.
  • Unpacking all products received and displaying the merchandise on the sales floor with the correct price in an efficient and productive manner.
  • Helping our customers get just what they need.
  • Handling cash and card transactions, taking orders and resolving customer queries.
  • Working to the Clive Mark Customer Service standards in order to meet or exceed customer’s expectations and satisfaction.
  • Following company policy and procedures.

About You

  • Friendly, helpful and customer focused.
  • Flexible to work different shifts across 7 days and up to 8pm in the Summer.
  • Has the capability to forge a good working relationship with junior and senior staff members contributing to a winning team culture.
  • Driven and motivated to meet sales targets.
  • Displays a high level of integrity.
  • Is trustworthy and honest.
  • Numerical with a good understanding of cash handling and till functionality.
  • Previous retail experience is preferable.

  • Variable hours per week.
  • Shifts Monday to Sunday with various start and finish times. Shop is open 9-5 in the winter and the Summer has longer hours with 1 late night a week and Sundays.
  • National Minimum Wage.
  • Job Type: Part-time.
  • Schedule: Monday to Sunday, Weekend availability.
  • Experience: Customer service: 1 year (required).
