Position Overview
The SDR will support inside sales, lead generation, and business development activities across UK, US, and international markets. You will identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities, acting as the first point of contact for prospective clients. This role offers a foundation for a long-term career in sales within a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective clients aligned with our ICP, focusing on the food industry.
- Conduct inbound and outbound prospecting to generate qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM and sales tools.
- Initiate contact via cold calls, emails, social media, and other channels.
- Personalize outreach messages to address prospect needs.
- Research companies and formulate engagement strategies for SME, mid-market, and enterprise clients.
- Collaborate with Account Executives on strategies and outreach efforts.
- Meet activity targets (calls, emails, appointments, leads).
- Follow up consistently to nurture leads and develop pipelines.
- Achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Contribute to overall company growth through high-quality conversations and qualified opportunities.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop persuasive outreach messages.
- Strong organizational skills and multi-prospect management.
- Experience in prospecting and selling software solutions.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and objection handling.
- Proficiency with digital prospecting tools (LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft).

Qualifications
- Degree in business, marketing, management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or business development role.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary up to £45,000, plus performance-based OTE of over £60,000 annually.
