As a Software Tester, you will be working on modern SaaS-based products used by enterprise customers, helping to ensure high-quality digital experiences through robust testing practices across web applications, APIs, and back-end systems. - Champion software quality throughout the full development lifecycle, from planning through to deployment.
- Carry out testing across APIs, databases, and web-based applications.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams during refinement and design discussions to identify risks and improve quality early in the process.
- Support automation initiatives and contribute to improving testing efficiency.
- Work closely with wider engineering teams to embed best testing practices across delivery.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate testing outcomes and potential risks.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes, helping improve quality gates and release confidence.
- Use AI-powered tools to support learning, problem solving, and test development.
Requirements:
- Commercial experience testing complex web-based applications or SaaS products.
- Strong API testing skills using Postman or similar tools.
- Good understanding of databases with the ability to write SQL queries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical approach to testing.
- Proactive mindset with an interest in modern tooling, including AI technologies such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Comfortable working across the full SDLC and contributing to quality from the beginning of feature development.
