Join us at the heart of trust. We’re currently looking for a Senior UX researcher to join our team at Trustpilot. Our goal is simple: to become the most trusted reviews platform in the world. We will achieve this by being ready and willing to disrupt ourselves through innovation, data and insight and adding product professionals with ambitions that match our own. You will be responsible for understanding B2B and end users of Trustpilot. This will include conducting foundational and directional research across the product, working with different cross-functional feature teams. As a team, you will frame opportunities, conceptualize, explore and iterate your way to delivering value for the millions of people and businesses using Trustpilot. You will solve challenging and stimulating research problems, as well as identify opportunities to improve our user experience across products. You will be a key member of the UX Research team, collaborating with other researchers to increase the impact of your work, building out research operations and supporting other disciplines to conduct their own directional and validation research. You will also work closely with the wider product design, and design system teams to create a stronger link between understanding user problems and business opportunities in product. This is a great opportunity for an experienced researcher to grow, learn and have an impact at a technology company. What you’ll be doing: Use qualitative and quantitative research techniques to understand our users, represent the customer by being their voice within the company, and work with teams across the business to share insights and enable us to create engaging user experiences. You’ll work on the important here-and-now projects being delivered, as well as some exciting future-thinking projects Develop new approaches for solving a problem, using known methods and anticipating problems Gather and communicate insights that move your research decisions Be instrumental in raising the bar for research and user experience in product development through design feedback sessions and close collaboration with designers, product managers, and engineers across the department Collaborate with product designers on processes to gather, distil, communicate, and create actionable knowledge to influence product decisions Help other researchers grow by serving as an example, guiding their work directly on projects that you are involved in, and coaching as they grow and improve Create well-crafted research proposals that communicate rationale, align stakeholders and teams, and help to clarify scope Lead other researchers and designers to build out a coherent experience across user journeys Who you are: 4+ years of UX research experience working on broad and complicated research projects Wide-ranging experience in creating novel yet implementable research plans to solve complex issues High-quality work that sets the standard for UX research Experience working with product roadmaps to plan advanced research and identify gaps in user knowledge as it relates to new features or improvements, and have worked closely with related disciplines on research strategies for complicated studies A focus on educating colleagues on UX research practices and methodologies Strong case studies displaying your craft and experience with research projects A growth mindset and a willingness to own problems, an enthusiasm for building products, and a desire to make things better An appreciation of a truly agile and team-oriented approach to product development Fluency in English, both written and oral Great communication and interpersonal skills We are: At Trustpilot, we work as a team and deliver as a team.
