About Trustpilot

At Trustpilot, we’re on an incredible journey. We’re a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company with a big vision: to become the universal symbol of trust. We run the world’s largest independent consumer review platform, and while we’ve come a long way, there’s still so much exciting work to do. Come join us at the heart of trust!

We are looking for a Senior IT Program Manager to join our Digital Delivery team. This role sits within the IT Operations department—the engine room that enables our global business through smart tooling, efficient systems, and seamless migrations. This isn’t a role for someone looking to lead a "warship-scale" program from a distance. You will be a hands-on workstream driver, joining a lean, high-impact team that bridges the gap between technical IT engineers and our global business stakeholders.

The Team: Digital Delivery (IT Operations)

The Digital Delivery team is a lean, high-impact unit dedicated to driving business success by delivering strategic digital initiatives through robust program and project management. Our purpose is to foster a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging AI, innovative solutions, and modern technology to enhance cross-functional efficiency across Trustpilot.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, IT Operation teams from all parts of the business to define program requirements and ensure the scope and deliverables are clearly defined and understood.
  • Maintain and manage a holistic view of the programs and any associated changes, cross-functional dependencies, and risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Make appropriate trade-offs between business vs. technical constraints to optimise time to release and impact.
  • Establish and maintain clear communications with stakeholders and teams on program progress.
  • Steer teams and stakeholders in the program in the same direction so everyone remains focused on the outcomes.
  • Coach and mentor teams on best practices and lessons learned to continuously improve and maintain a healthy delivery process focused on outcomes.

Who you are:

  • A self-starter with proven experience in a program/project management role or similar in a fast-growing technology company.
  • You have at least 5 years of verifiable experience in project/delivery management, specifically within IT or technical departments in a fast-growing technology company.
  • You will have the ability to anticipate curveballs and pivot to maximise customer and business benefit.
  • Great facilitation and communication skills, and the ability to build bridges between teams and people, both technical and non-technical.
  • Established stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to create order out of chaos and coordinate through ambiguity and complexity.
  • Able to ask questions to the right people, at the right time.
  • High level of self-certainty, integrity and motivation, combined with the ability to meet deadlines through prioritising and organising activities.
  • Proactive mindset.
  • Experience managing large-scale IT transformation and change management.
  • High-quality communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Experience with JIRA / Atlassian suite of tools for project management is a plus.

Tech & Systems we use:

  • Project & Work Management: JIRA Service Management (JSM), Jira, Confluence.
  • Collaboration: Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom.
  • SaaS Ecosystem: Fresh Service (migration source), various productivity and AI tools.
  • Compliance: Systems governed by SOC and IT General Controls (ITGC).

What’s in it for you?

  • A range of flexible working options to dedicate time to what matters to you.
  • Competitive compensation package + bonus.
  • 25 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 days after 2 years of employment.
  • Two (paid) volunteering days a year to spend your time giving back to the causes that matter to you and your community.
  • Rich learning and development opportunities are supported through the Trustpilot Academy and Blinkist.
  • Pension and life insurance, Health cash plan, online GP, 24/7 Employee Assistance Plan.
  • Full access to Headspace, a popular mindfulness app to promote positive mental health.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Season ticket loan and a cycle-to-work scheme.
  • Central office location, complete with all the snacks and refreshments you can ask for.
  • Regular opportunities to connect and get to know your fellow Trusties, including company-wide celebrations and events, ERG activities, and team socials.
  • Access to over 4,000 deals and discounts on things like travel, electronics, fashion, fitness, cinema discounts, and more.

How to prepare for a job interview at Trustpilot

Brush Up on Your Technical Skills

For an IT consulting role, be ready to demonstrate your technical prowess. You might face questions on systems integration, cloud technologies, or even troubleshooting specific software. If you have experience with tools like AWS, Azure, or even specific programming languages, make sure you can talk about them fluently.

Showcase Your Problem-Solving Approach

IT consulting is all about solving problems for clients. Think about how you can illustrate your approach to a past challenge using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). It's a great way to show how you tackle complex issues and come up with effective solutions.

Know the Business Impact of IT Solutions

When discussing your experiences, focus not just on the tech solutions you implemented, but also on their business impact. Employers want to see that you can connect IT with organisational goals. Prep examples that highlight how your tech contributions improved efficiency or reduced costs for past clients or projects.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

Since IT consulting often involves teamwork and client interactions, expect behavioural questions that assess your interpersonal skills. Be prepared with examples that demonstrate your adaptability, communication skills, and how you handle client feedback. Before the interview, think of situations where you worked closely with clients to create effective IT strategies or changes.
