The Head of Partnering acts as a core strategic partner to members of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), driving the overarching functional people strategy to directly connect organisational and workforce priorities with global business strategy, growth targets, and enterprise goals .
Operating with high autonomy, strategic accountability, and enterprise-wide influence, this role serves as a trusted advisor and executive coach to senior leadership.
The role establishes strategic direction for complex organisational design, structural transformations, and change management initiatives while elevating leadership capability across executive teams.
By seamlessly balancing long-term strategic vision with hands-on operational delivery, the Head of Partnering directly optimizes business performance, enhances organisational agility, and strengthens succession pipelines across key functional areas.
What you’ll be doing
- Strategic Partnership
- Act as a strategic thought partner to Executive (ELT) leadership team members Members embedded into their leadership teams
- Lead the translation of business strategy into people priorities that drive growth, and the performance and people-centric culture we want.
- Coach and advise on organisational decisions, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness to drive business growth.
- Workforce Planning & Organisational Design
- Influence and build the 'connective tissue' between AI-enabled productivity and Trustpilot’s human-centric culture.
- Lead workforce planning efforts to ensure optimal resourcing and future readiness.
- Architect organisational design and structural changes, using data and business insight to inform and advise decisions.
- Partner with senior leaders to define scalable, fit-for-purpose structures and roles.
- Leadership & Talent Development
- Coach the members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to help level up their individual leadership capability and impact to foster inclusive, high performing teams (to be agreed with VP Business Partnering and ELT Member who these leaders are)
- Shape talent and leadership development strategies in collaboration with Centres of Expertise (Co Es).
- Identify high potential talent, support succession planning and contribute to leadership development initiatives
- Support leaders in identifying and developing high-potential talent and building robust succession pipelines.
- Culture, Change & Engagement
- Champion change and culture initiatives that align with global strategy and business needs.
- Drive organisational effectiveness and employee engagement efforts, creating an environment where people thrive.
- Role model values-led leadership, fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, and accountability.
- Data-Driven Insights & Localisation
- Use people analytics, market trends, and external benchmarking to drive decisions and shape people strategies.
- Monitor functional org health metrics and proactively address emerging issues or opportunities
- Ensure the successful localisation and implementation of global people initiatives and programmes.
- Provide actionable insight into local risks, opportunities, and employee sentiment.
- Collaboration & Influence
- Collaborate closely with Co Es, Global Policy & ER team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of people strategies.
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of global people projects, processes and standards.
- Influence senior leadership and peers through strong reasoning, data and insight to drive people-related change
- Maintain operational oversight of people initiatives while providing strategic input into broader people team direction.
Who you are
- Proven experience operating as a trusted advisor and executive coach to C-suite/ELT leaders, translating business goals into aligned people priorities.
- Demonstrated expertise in architecting complex organizational designs, driving strategic workforce planning, and leading large-scale change management initiatives.
- Strong track record of leveling up leadership capability, identifying high-potential talent, and architecting robust succession pipelines.
- Skilled in using people analytics, organizational health metrics, and external benchmarking to influence leadership and shape strategy.
- Proven success partnering closely with People Centres of Expertise (Co Es) and ER/Policy teams to localise and deliver global initiatives.
- Experience or interest in connecting AI-enabled productivity with human-centric organizational culture.
- Prior background partnering specifically within Commercial, Corporate, or Tech/Product/Digital functional environments.
