As an Analytics Manager, you will lead a focused team of 4 analysts, ranging from Junior to Lead level.
- Strategic Partnership: Act as the main point of accountability for stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Content Integrity, and Legal. You’ll help them shape strategies and ensure they have the data they need to make high-impact decisions.
- Oversight: You will oversee code reviews and architectural decisions, ensuring our data models (dbt) and analysis scripts are scalable, performant, and reproducible.
- Leadership: Whether it’s helping an analyst debug a complex Python script, peer-reviewing an R model, or writing a mission-critical SQL query during critical delivery windows, you lead by example.
- Safeguard the Platform: Oversee the analytical backbone of our Trust & Transparency domains, helping enhance platform integrity.
- Roadmap Development: Build and execute a domain-level roadmap that aligns with company-wide OKRs and long-term goals.
- Experienced Leader: You have a track record of managing and developing data professionals in a formal or informal capacity.
- Technical Powerhouse: You possess a very solid, practitioner-level grasp of SQL and either Python or R. You have likely spent several years as a Senior or Lead Analyst and can still speak the language fluently with Engineering and Data Science teams.
- Code Quality Advocate: You believe in version control (Git), clean code, and robust documentation.
- Agile & Proactive: You thrive in fast-moving environments and have excellent prioritization skills to balance long-term projects with immediate support.
