Working here, you’ll find a company that celebrates its diversity and is looking to do the right thing: for each other, the community and the planet. We believe in equal opportunities and take to heart the old African proverb ’If you only want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together’. We are looking for our first in-house UI/UX Product Designer to help shape the future of our B2B SaaS platform and B2B2C mobile applications. As part of our global Product team, you'll work closely with Product Managers and Engineering from the earliest stages of product discovery through to delivery. You'll be responsible for evolving and improving the user experience across our web and mobile products, helping ensure every interaction is intuitive, effective, and aligned to real user needs.
This is an opportunity to have genuine influence. As the sole designer within the business, you'll own the design process end-to-end, helping define how design contributes to product strategy, customer experience, and product delivery. You'll balance user needs, technical constraints, and commercial objectives to create experiences that work for customers, engineers, support teams, and business stakeholders alike.
As the UI/UX Product Designer, you will:
- Own the end-to-end design process across our SaaS platform and mobile applications, from problem definition through to delivered experiences.
- Evolve and improve existing user journeys, interfaces, and workflows across web and mobile products.
- Define the user experience and interface design for new features, products, and capabilities.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate solutions.
- Translate complex technical and business requirements into simple, intuitive user experiences.
- Champion accessibility, usability, and design best practice across all product experiences.
- Build, maintain, and evolve our design library, including components, patterns, design tokens, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure consistency across products and platforms through scalable design system practices.
- Work closely with Engineering to establish effective wireframe-to-code workflows and design handover processes.
- Contribute to design standards and ways of working that support long-term product scalability.
- Conduct lightweight user research with customers, stakeholders, and end users to validate problems and opportunities.
- Use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions.
- Help define user profiles, personas, and audience cohorts across both business and consumer-facing products.
- Test and validate concepts through prototypes, usability reviews, and stakeholder feedback.
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Contribute to product discovery, solution design, prioritisation, and scope discussions.
- Challenge assumptions, ask questions, and bring fresh ideas to product conversations.
- Collaborate with Delivery, Support, and Commercial teams to understand user challenges and operational requirements.
- Help ensure design decisions balance customer value, business outcomes, and technical feasibility.
- Identify opportunities to introduce AI-assisted tools and workflows that improve research, design, and product development processes.
- Stay current with evolving design trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Contribute to the ongoing maturity of design capability within the business.
- Help shape how design is embedded within a growing product-led organisation.
Who you are…
- A user-focused designer who enjoys solving complex problems through thoughtful, practical design.
- Comfortable taking ownership and working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Curious, proactive, and always looking to understand the 'why' behind user behaviours and business requirements.
- Confident working in ambiguity and able to transform loosely defined challenges into structured solutions.
- A strong communicator who can clearly explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Collaborative and pragmatic, with the confidence to challenge constructively when needed.
What makes you, you…
- Experience designing B2B SaaS products, including dashboards, portals, administration tools, or data-rich business applications.
- Experience designing consumer-facing mobile applications for Android and/or iOS platforms.
- Experience delivering user-centred design solutions from discovery through to implementation.
