The Technical Assurance Consultant plays a key role in delivering high‑quality software solutions by contributing to test automation, quality engineering practices, and continuous delivery activities. The role combines hands‑on technical capability with strong consulting behaviours, enabling effective collaboration with clients and project teams. This position supports the delivery of robust, maintainable test automation frameworks and assures the quality of software throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute as a core team member to test automation and Continuous Delivery (CD) projects.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and task delivery using Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
- Support development and testing work in collaboration with developers, testers, and DevOps engineers.
- Design and implement automated test scenarios using Cucumber or SpecFlow, following Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD) practices and using Gherkin syntax.
- Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks leveraging tools such as Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
- Write clean, maintainable, and object‑oriented code in at least one of C# or Python.
- Work with Azure DevOps pipelines to integrate automation into end‑to‑end delivery workflows.
- Communicate effectively with client stakeholders to clarify requirements, provide updates, and share insights.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and consulting skills, including active listening and awareness of social styles.
- Contribute to team performance and collaborative problem‑solving.
