We’re looking for an experienced People Partner to work closely with senior leaders and client groups, providing pragmatic, commercially focused people solutions that support Trustmarque and Ultima's strategy and deliver excellent employee outcomes. This is a true partnering role, balancing strategic input with hands‑on delivery. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, using insight, data and judgement to influence decision‑making, guide leaders through change and keep the employee experience at the heart of everything you do.

What you’ll be doing

  • Partner with senior leaders and client groups to understand their strategic goals, opportunities and challenges, co‑creating and delivering aligned People Plans.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, flexing between coaching and advising people managers on all people‑related matters.
  • Use people data and insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities, informing decisions and measuring impact.
  • Lead key people initiatives and projects, including acquisitions, restructures and integrations.
  • Take the lead on complex employee relations cases, acting as an escalation point for the team.
  • Collaborate with the wider People team and Centres of Excellence to design, deliver and embed people solutions.
  • Support organisational change, advising on organisational design, communication and change management.
  • Review engagement data with client groups and support local action plans and wider company initiatives.

What we’re looking for

  • Essential
  • Proven experience in a People Partner role, ideally within tech or a fast‑growing organisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, applied pragmatically and commercially.
  • Experience using people analytics to inform decision‑making and demonstrate impact.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence to challenge constructively.
  • A track record of delivering people solutions that drive performance and engagement.
  • Strong focus on employee experience and inclusive practice.
  • Ability to foster a culture of feedback in a high‑performance environment.
  • CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent experience).
  • Desirable
  • Understanding of the UK tech sector and its unique employee needs.
  • TUPE experience.
