As a Microsoft Fabric Architect at our consultancy, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across multiple industries, providing innovative data solutions and leveraging Microsoft\’s cutting-edge technologies.Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Architect specializing in Microsoft Fabric to join our dynamic team in a client-facing role. As a Microsoft Fabric Architect, you will be able to work with a diverse range of clients across multiple industries, providing innovative data solutions and leveraging Microsoft\’s cutting-edge technologies.What you\’ll be doing:Client Engagement and Consultation : Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, data challenges, and objectives. Provide expert guidance on leveraging Microsoft Fabric to achieve their goals.Solution Design : Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end data solutions that integrate Microsoft Fabric components such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Power BI, and other relevant technologies.Implementation and Deployment : Oversee the implementation and deployment of data solutions, ensuring they align with best practices and industry standards. Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization.Data Modelling and Integration : Design and implement data models, data pipelines, and integration strategies to ensure robust data flow and accessibility across various systems and platforms.Performance Tuning and Technical Optimization : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficiency of data solutions.Security and Compliance : Ensure that data solutions adhere to security and compliance standards, including data privacy regulations and organizational policies.Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.Project Management : Lead and manage data projects, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, and risk management. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Client Training and Support : Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to clients, enabling them to effectively utilize the implemented data solutions.Here\’s what we\’re looking for:7-10 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies or other market leading technologiesDemonstrated experience in a client-facing role, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.Proficiency in data modelling, ETL processes, data integration, SQL, and data warehousing concepts with a strong understanding of cloud computing, real time data and data security best practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficientlyProven leadership skills, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.Experience in managing data projects, including project scoping, planning, resource allocation, and risk management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600), Implementing Data Engineering Solutions Using Microsoft Fabric (DP-700).
