Trustmarque's Enterprise Connectivity practice specialise in network, security and unified communication technologies delivering solutions and managed services to clients across all sectors. Reporting to the Product and Presales Director, you will be responsible for customer discovery, solution creation, and oversight of delivery of differentiated lifecycle services. You will have input and ownership throughout the customer journey (presales, design, provisioning, and operations) driving outcome success, working closely with all areas of our service lifecycle. This role provides an exciting opportunity to help shape, develop and deliver best-of-breed connectivity solutions and services.
Person Profile
- A recognised and proven expert in your field
- Experience in several different network delivery functions: for example, pre-sales/solution architecture/product development/platform design/deployment/support/operations
- Commercial understanding for buying models and the inputs that make up a complete solution to deliver customer and partner value
- Strategic and analytical, questioning the norm to always drive improvement
- An individual who is conscious of the need for end-to-end responsibility and action
- Ability to lead and influence both internal and external teams and stakeholders recognising and leveraging ideas and opportunities from contributors
- A desire to influence and take responsibility for the value of a given network service
- Personal integrity that builds trust and confidence in clients and colleagues
- Confident and personable with strong inter-personal skills, able to communicate effectively and compellingly at all levels of an organisation

Key Responsibilities
- Drive innovation in our approach to customer needs, working closely with the sales to support opportunity development
- Capture of customer outcomes, strategic proposal writing and technical design where engaged as advisor or technical lead within an opportunity
- Development of proposition/service collateral, technical service design, service architecture, processes, and tooling
- Steering and delivering tasks within EC product development plan, working with, and upskilling existing teams to support success
- Provide expertise, leadership, and direction in new technology, take responsibility for the adoption of new tools and processes across technical teams acting as an escalation point where required
- To own the testing, operation, and remediation of minimal viable products as part of early adopter programmes
- To be highly visible within technology area, ensuring we are doing the right thing for our clients and working in partnership with our delivery teams
- Identify continual improvement of services and processes to achieve greater efficiency
- Mentoring including training and development of wider practice teams
- Attend industry events and conferences, occasionally as a spokesperson
Role Requirements
- Minimum Certification CCNP, CCDP (Enterprise Infrastructure / Security / Enterprise Wireless / Collaboration / Data Centre)
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, configuring, deploying, and administrating complex Network environments
- In-depth, demonstrable experience and knowledge designing and delivering Cisco Campus solutions
- Deep understanding of licensing and the commercial constructs to present a full solution that meets all business requirements, technical and financial
- Strong understanding of market trends such as IoT, Cloud Adoption, User Experience, AIOps and Hybrid Working
- Proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients
- Able to manage competing priorities for own and team's work activities to deliver against agreed priorities and deadlines, escalating if required
- Clear and concise communication skills (verbal, written & presentational)
- Flexible, able to travel, and work away from home when required.
