You will partner closely with the Global Head of Corporate and Strategy, legal team members across jurisdictions (particularly in Sweden, the UK, and the US), and cross-functional stakeholders including Finance and IT.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the evaluation, implementation, and management of legal technology solutions, including contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, matter management tools, and legal analytics platforms.
  • Develop and maintain legal operations metrics and KPIs to measure team performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Assist in managing relationships with external counsel and legal service providers across multiple jurisdictions, including panel management, rate negotiations, and performance monitoring.
  • Oversee legal spend management, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with Finance, ensuring cost-effective delivery of legal services.
  • Build and maintain the Legal team’s knowledge management systems, templates, playbooks, and self-service resources to enable business stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to streamline legal intake, triage, and matter management processes.
  • Develop and implement training programs for the Legal team on new tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Partner with Compliance and Risk teams to ensure integrated governance frameworks and efficient regulatory reporting processes.
  • Establish vendor management frameworks for legal technology, services, and consultants, including procurement, contracting, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Drive adoption of legal technology and process improvements across the organisation through change management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Benchmark the legal operations function against industry best practices and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT and Information Security teams to ensure legal technology solutions meet data protection and security requirements.

Who You Are:

  • 5-7 years of combined legal practice and legal operations experience, preferably in FinTech, financial services, or high-growth technology companies.
  • Proven track record in legal operations, including process optimisation, legal technology implementation, and vendor management.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving organisational change.
  • Demonstrated experience with legal technology platforms such as contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, matter management tools, e-billing solutions, or legal analytics platforms.
  • Experience managing external counsel relationships and legal spend across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop metrics, analyse data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to understand commercial objectives and align legal operations to support business goals.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with demonstrated ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Comfortable working in a global organisation across different time zones and cultural contexts.
  • Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and leveraging technology to enhance legal service delivery.

Our Benefits:

  • 20 to 30 days of holiday to support a healthy work-life balance.
