The Role
As Assistant Estates Manager, you will support the Estates Manager with the day‑to‑day management of estates within your assigned portfolio. You will gain hands‑on experience across a wide range of activities, working alongside experienced colleagues while developing your knowledge of estates, open spaces, and stakeholder management. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop a career in estates management who is keen to learn, develop, and progress within a supportive environment. You may have limited prior experience, or be transitioning into the sector, and will be willing to take guidance while developing your confidence and skills over time. You will be required to travel to sites within the region, therefore a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
The Person
We are looking for a positive, organised, and enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in the countryside, green spaces, and the communities they support. You will be motivated to learn and develop within estates management and will approach your work with integrity and care, where doing the right thing is important to you. You may have limited prior experience or be new to the sector, but you will be reliable, open to guidance, and committed to developing your skills within a supportive team environment.

Main Responsibilities
- Assisting with site visits and inspections, supported by the Estates Manager
- Helping to record site conditions and upload reports
- Supporting the coordination of maintenance works and contractors
- Assisting with health & safety checks and documentation
- Supporting communication with residents, developers, and contractors
- Helping with administrative tasks, trackers, and general estate management support
