Your Role: The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating and qualifying pipeline across TrustFlight's full portfolio of products and services. You will play a vital role in connecting us with new customers across the aviation industry, identifying opportunities and setting up qualified meetings for the Account Executive team. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing to deliver targeted outreach, using the latest digital tools and CRM systems to manage your pipeline and track your activity. No sales experience required. What matters is your mindset, drive, and willingness to learn. This role reports to VP, Sales.
What You Need to Know About Sales at TrustFlight: Our clients span the full breadth of the aviation industry: Commercial Airlines, Cargo operators, Charter companies, Business Aviation, Airports, MROs, OEMs, and Regulators. Our sales cycles are typically 6 months or longer. The SDR role is critical in building and qualifying the pipeline that feeds those cycles – patience, persistence, and curiosity are what drive success. You will be expected to develop working knowledge of the TrustFlight portfolio over time. There is a meaningful learning curve and we invest in helping you get there. What You'll Be Doing:
- Leverage AI-powered tools to support account research, personalise outreach at scale, streamline CRM management, and stay ahead of industry developments, using technology to work smarter and focus time on meaningful prospect conversations.
- Conduct proactive outbound prospecting efforts to generate new sales leads within the aviation industry, targeting airlines, aircraft operators, maintenance organisations, and aviation regulatory agencies.
- Use email, phone calls, social media, and networking events to initiate contact with potential clients and qualify leads.
- Research target accounts to identify key decision-makers and gather initial insights about their needs.
- Engage prospects in conversations to uncover potential areas of interest and set up qualified meetings for the Account Executive team.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to deliver targeted messaging and outreach, sharing feedback on what resonates.
- Manage and prioritise your lead pipeline in CRM software, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate data entry.
- Keep records of all interactions and activities in CRM to track progress and performance.
- Stay up to date with industry news, trends, and competitor activity to support effective conversations with prospects.
- Represent TrustFlight at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build presence and expand our network.
What Success Looks Like:
- Consistently generating a qualified pipeline of meetings and opportunities for the Account Executive team.
- Building genuine rapport with prospects in the aviation industry, earning the right to a conversation through preparation, curiosity, and relevance.
- Developing fluency in the TrustFlight portfolio and the operational challenges our clients face, so you can have credible, value-led conversations from day one.
- Maintaining strong CRM discipline – accurate records, timely follow-ups, and clear pipeline visibility.
- Growing quickly into a more senior SDR or Account Executive role by demonstrating the drive, coachability, and results that earn that progression.
Location & Work Arrangement: We are looking for talents in London, UK. This is an on-site role with room for flexibility, because we know life doesn't always fit a 9-to-5 mould.
Qualifications:
