The role of Regional Test Controller (RTC) requires multi-skill, professionalism, dedication, and a multi-faceted individual capable of implementing, planning, and conducting professional Covert Testing (CT) at Airports and CNI establishments throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. A comprehensive knowledge of EU and UK legislation is required to enable thorough and effective audits whilst ensuring compliance is being monitored and reported. The position will report directly to the CT Manager.
This position carries significant responsibility and requires both diligence and attention to detail to ensure that all aspects of covert testing and compliance are met across all aviation and CNI security functions to be tested. You will be required to lead a team consisting of at least one Team Member and ensure that all TM’s are conducting themselves in a professional manner. In addition, you will assist in the training and mentoring of any new TL or TMs to ensure they meet the required standards.
You are to ensure that reports are compiled on the completion of testing which will then be Quality Assurance checked in line with company policy. Once certified, you will also verify your own reporting for client access. You are expected to produce high quality in all that you do, at all times.
Scope & Decision-Making AuthorityMain responsibilities (day to day activities):
- Conduct Covert Testing at Avn and CNI sites to include the submission of accurate reports via SeMS ST.
- Planning of test delivery at Avn and CNI sites in line with the CT department delivery plan produced by the coordinators.
- Be fully conversant in Avn and CNI site security disciplines, including but not limited to: Aviation and CNI site security management, amendments to legislation, control of Test Pieces during testing, and any other discipline required by Redline in pursuance of its portfolio, growth, customer requirements, and development.
- Ensure that correct document control procedures are maintained to include Test Piece sign in/out, SeMS ST reporting, boarding card issue and receipt, and vehicle documentation.
- Any other requirement or duty deemed by the directors to be both fair and reasonable which is notified to you by any managerial staff.
