The Sales Executive will be responsible for processing and managing daily sales and customer service tasks in addition to building strong relationships with customers and vendors through web, email, and telephone sales. The role will be primarily office based and will be handling inbound and outbound sales activity. An excellent phone manner is a necessity.
Accountabilities
- Service Delivery
- Utilise the company’s CRM system to support all sales activity
- Support departmental managers to achieve better sales results for all company products and services
- Conduct market research to actively seek out and identify selling and upselling opportunities and trends
- Assist with the collation of sales and marketing statistics
- Business Development
- Drive sales through outbound calls and outreach activity to build new and productive relationships with customers/potential customers and convert sales through effective conversion of inbound sales enquiries
- Be the first point of contact for inbound enquiries (web, email, phone)
- Confident at cold calling and prospecting
- Engage with clients to ensure we exceed their expectations and seek opportunities to expand our portfolio and enhance our reputation within the industry
- Actively seek out applicable tender opportunities through a variety of online portals and search engines
- Support company bids and tenders
- Attend exhibitions, events, and networking opportunities
- Quality Assurance
- Maintain an accurate and reliable system of audit, maintenance, and accountancy of all company commercial processes in accordance with ISO9001
Candidate Requirements
- Sales Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in sales and client management with inbound and outbound telesales experience in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Self‑motivated, strong planning, organizational and time management skills
- Tireless work ethic
- Familiar with Aviation, Security and Events sector (training will be provided)
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Keen attention to detail; able to critically review own output
- Proven experience of upselling
- A desire to learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience as a member of a cohesive and effective sales team
- Some overseas travel may be required
- Must be able to work independently, accepting accountability for achieving defined goals and objectives
- Proficient in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM software
