Our client, with over 30 years combined experience in the shutters, roller shutters, industrial shutters, industrial doors and the shutter engineering industry, is looking to expand their current team. They are seeking an experienced roller shutter engineer and shop shutter engineer on a full-time and permanent basis.

They deal with mainly commercial premises and offer shutter repairs, shutter installation, and shutter service and maintenance services to retailers, industrial and commercial units and similar types of businesses. They cover London and surrounding areas.

About the Role & Responsibilities

As a shutter mobile engineer, you will be responsible for installation, repair, service, and maintenance on client sites across London, Essex & Kent areas. You will be expected to attend site, establish faults, quote for the repair or replacement, and conduct fault investigations. You will need a good amount of knowledge on a range of both manual and electrical shutters, be able to work independently, and carry out repairs with confidence.

Experience Required

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with industrial doors, shutters, roller shutters, shop front shutters, both manual and automatic
  • Full Driving Licence (required)
  • CSCS, IPAF & PASMA Licences
  • Be willing to travel across London, Central London, Essex & Kent areas

Package

  • Starting Salary from £30,000 a year to £43,000 (depending on experience plus opportunity for overtime work)
  • Working hours - Mon - Fri (40hrs)
  • Overtime on weekends and evenings potentially available
  • Full Time - Permanent Role
  • Uniform, Holidays, Pension & Tools Provided
