Requirements
- We need extensive experience in the design, deployment, and ongoing support of Microsoft server and cloud technologies, including Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Microsoft System Centre Suite (MECM, DPM, SCOM), Microsoft Azure (Azure Files, Iaa S Virtual Machines, Backup and Recovery), Microsoft 365/Office 365, and Microsoft Intune.
- We need strong experience managing Windows Server environments, including 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025.
- We need proficiency in automation and scripting using Power Shell.
- We need experience with virtualisation and high availability solutions, including Hyper-V (clustered and standalone), Windows Admin Centre, and Failover Clustering.
- We need working knowledge of SQL Server in both clustered and standalone deployments.
- We need at least five years of experience in a similar role within large and diverse enterprise environments using Microsoft server and Microsoft cloud technologies.
- We need advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- We need excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, high-quality documentation such as processes, procedures, and technical designs.
- We need a positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
- Desirable: We would value experience designing and deploying highly available infrastructure within Microsoft Azure, including Network Virtual Appliances and load balancers.
- Desirable: We would value Linux server administration experience.
- This role is subject to a clear standard DBS check.
