We are seeking confident, motivated Cover Supervisor candidates to join our partner secondary schools across the Telford area. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who want meaningful classroom experience.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain focused, engaged and supported in their learning. You'll help maintain a positive learning environment, contributing to the smooth running of the school day. The Cover Supervisor role is varied, fast-paced and highly rewarding for those who enjoy supporting young people.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Ensure students stay on task and engaged
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
- Provide simple feedback to teaching staff on student progress
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive school environment
- Support with wider school duties when required
Role Requirements
- A degree or experience working with young people
- Strong communication skills and a confident classroom presence
- Ability to manage behaviour calmly and effectively
- Adaptable, reliable and open to new challenges
- School experience is beneficial but not essential
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
