Sales Director | London | Design & Build Fit-Out

We’re working with a well-established but growing Design & Build contractor delivering high-quality CAT A and CAT B commercial office projects across London.

The business has a strong delivery platform, a solid reputation in the market, and consistent access to opportunities. What they’re now looking for is a Sales Director to take real ownership of the front end and turn relationships into a structured, high-performing pipeline.

This is not a “sit back and inherit work” role. It’s about building, driving, and owning the BD function properly.

The Role

You will lead all business development activity across the business, combining hands‑on relationship building with leadership of a growing BD team.

• Bring your own, as well as build and maintain existing relationships with agents, PMs, and asset managers across London
• Generate, manage, and convert a consistent pipeline of D&B opportunities (£1m–£10m)
• Lead and develop a BD team including networkers and telesales resource
• Bring structure, accountability, and consistency to BD activity
• Work closely with Pre‑Construction and Design teams on pitches and strategy
• Act as a key external figure for the business within the market

About You

• Proven track record of finding and winning work within the London fit‑out market
• Strong, active network across commercial agents, PMs, and asset managers
• Experience leading or building a BD function (or the belief you could)
• Commercially sharp, with the judgement to challenge poor‑fit opportunities and focus the business on the right work
• Comfortable operating at senior level and representing the business externally at the highest level
