CLIENT: Our client specialises in commercial interior fit-out and refurbishment projects, delivering a full range of services from initial concept and space planning through to design, construction and final completion. Their portfolio consists exclusively of CAT A and CAT B office fit-outs and refurbishments, with project values ranging from £100K to £5M.
THE ROLE: We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of office fit-out projects ranging from £100K to £5M. In this role, you will assist in managing the full project lifecycle, working closely with clients, designers, contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to a high standard. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly organised, and have a keen interest in commercial interiors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to transition from a sub-contractor background into Principal Contracting.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in coordinating multiple office fit-out projects from inception through to completion.
- Support the management of project phases including planning, design coordination, procurement, construction and handover.
- Assist with budget monitoring, cost tracking and basic financial reporting.
- Help maintain and update project programmes to support key milestones and deadlines.
- Support the coordination of contractors, suppliers and consultants on site under senior supervision.
- Assist with client communications, preparing updates and supporting meetings to ensure expectations are met.
- Help ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, building regulations and Loop Interiors’ quality standards.
- Assist in identifying project risks and issues, escalating where necessary and supporting resolution.
- Support final project reviews and assist with documentation for successful handover and client satisfaction.
