Are you an organised, detail-focused professional with a passion for Export? Our client, a leading and expanding manufacturing organisation established for over 30 years in Tamworth, is looking for an Export Coordinator to join their busy Export team. This is a pivotal role that ensures goods move seamlessly around the world, while providing critical support to internal teams and overseas offices.
Your salary will be up to £28,000 depending on experience. Benefits include: 31 days holiday including Bank Holidays, Paycare - A Healthcare Cash Plan (Discounts available and access to a 24-hour Doctor), up to 5 days extra unpaid holiday available at a salary sacrifice and 2x life assurance. Please note this is an office-based position.
As the Export Coordinator, you will deal with:
- End-to-End Export Management: Oversee international orders from booking and freight arrangements to despatch and invoicing, ensuring timely delivery.
- Customs & Documentation: Prepare accurate shipping documentation (Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin) and apply HS Codes correctly, keeping up to date with customs regulations.
- Overseas Operations Support: Work closely with the Middle East office, managing orders, stock, invoices, and exhibition shipments.
- Inventory & Data Integrity: Monitor export stock, coordinate warehouse movements, and maintain accurate customer and product records.
- Problem Solving & Communication: Act as the point of contact for customers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Team & Manager Support: Collaborate with Export Sales Managers and other departments to ensure smooth operations and provide administrative support as needed.
Who we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in export coordination and international shipping procedures.
- Knowledge of Sage or similar CRM/ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Confident in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload, work independently, and solve problems proactively.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
