About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Scenic Project Manager Live Events to take ownership of our most complex and high-profile scenic productions. You will lead the delivery of ambitious scenic and staging builds across prestigious live events, ensuring excellence is delivered in every detail—from concept through to on-site execution. With a strong background in scenic construction and project delivery (typically 6+ years within live events), you will combine technical expertise with creative thinking and commercial awareness to bring exceptional environments to life. You will also play a key leadership role within the scenic team, supporting, guiding, and developing others while ensuring our values of creativity, passion, and excellence are reflected in every project.
What You'll Bring
- Deep expertise in scenic construction and confidence in producing technical drawings using AutoCAD (or equivalent software) to create accurate, buildable design documentation.
- Producing detailed project documentation and build information.
- Interpreting client needs and translating them into practical and creative solutions.
- On site, confidently leading venue transformations, coordinating internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional finishes.
- A strong communicator who can build trusted relationships with clients, quickly understand their objectives, and respond with insight, creativity, and commercial awareness.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous, but is not essential.
- Developing creative, technical, and commercially sound responses to briefs.
- Collaborating with internal teams to produce high-quality proposals and solutions.
- Leading on-site delivery and overseeing installation to a high standard.
- Monitoring team performance and providing constructive feedback and support.
- Adapting quickly to changing project requirements while keeping delivery teams aligned.
