About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Scenic Project Manager Live Events to take ownership of our most complex and high-profile scenic productions. You will lead the delivery of ambitious scenic and staging builds across prestigious live events, ensuring excellence is delivered in every detail—from concept through to on-site execution. With a strong background in scenic construction and project delivery (typically 6 years within live events), you will combine technical expertise with creative thinking and commercial awareness to bring exceptional environments to life. You will also play a key leadership role within the scenic team, supporting, guiding, and developing others while ensuring our values of creativity, passion, and excellence are reflected in every project.

What You'll Bring

  • Deep expertise in scenic construction and confidence in producing technical drawings using AutoCAD (or equivalent software) to create accurate, buildable design documentation.
  • Highly experienced in scenic construction methods, materials, and finishes.
  • Producing detailed project documentation and build information.
  • Managing budgets, logistics, and accurate quoting.
  • Interpreting client needs and translating them into practical and creative solutions.
  • Leading venue transformations on-site, coordinating internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional finishes.
  • Strong communicator who can build trusted relationships with clients, quickly understand their objectives, and respond with insight, creativity, and commercial awareness.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear, confident communication.
  • Receive, interpret, and challenge client briefs to ensure clarity and value.
  • Develop creative, technical, and commercially sound responses to briefs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce high-quality proposals and solutions.
  • Create accurate drawings, quotations, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with workshop, warehouse, and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Produce scenic build lists and full construction documentation.
  • Lead on-site delivery and oversee installation to a high standard.
  • Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback and support.
  • Adapt quickly to changing project requirements while keeping delivery teams aligned.
