Are you a creative and detail-oriented individual? Are you ready to take the next step in your marketing career while also supporting IT operations in a fast-paced environment? If so, this role is for you! You will be joining our client who are a global leader within Manufacturing as a Marketing & IT Operations Assistant, you will be supporting with executing campaigns, managing digital content and coordinating promotional activities. Based in Tamworth, your hours of work will be 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.00pm on Fridays.
Benefits include:
- Bonus scheme – An annual bonus is arranged with your relevant line manager that will commence for the year 2025-2026.
- Pension scheme – You would be eligible to join the company's designated scheme after three months of employment. The company's contribution is 7.5% and your minimum contribution would be 5%. Company contributions rise to 11% over the first 7 years of your employment.
- Private medical insurance and BUPA Cash Plan is paid after 3 months of service.
- Holidays – 25 days plus statutory per annum. After five years' service the holiday entitlement increases by one day per year up to a maximum of 30.

Key responsibilities include:
- Marketing Support: Collaborate on developing and implementing marketing campaigns, conduct market research, and create impactful marketing materials.
- Digital Marketing & Social Media: Manage the company's social media accounts, create engaging posts, monitor analytics, and support SEO and email marketing efforts.
- Content Creation & Branding: Assist in drafting content, ensuring consistency across all marketing platforms, and supporting video/graphic design projects.
- Event & Campaign Coordination: Organise promotional events, webinars, and trade shows, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- IT Operations: Provide IT support, manage hardware and software, and ensure efficient functioning of cloud services like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
You will have:
- Experience: Previous marketing experience and a keen understanding of digital marketing strategies.
- Technical Know-How: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Mailchimp, HubSpot, and basic knowledge of graphic design or video editing tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with an eye for detail.
- Multitasking Ability: A proactive, organised individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
