You will be joining our client who are a global leader within Manufacturing as an Inventory and Customer Relations Advisor, playing a crucial role in managing stock levels, building relationships with customers, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations.

Based in Tamworth, your hours of work will be 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.00pm on Fridays. A full UK driving licence is required for this role as you will occasionally visit sites to carry out stock counts.

Benefits include:

  • Bonus scheme: An annual bonus is arranged with your relevant line manager that will commence for the year 2025-2026.
  • Pension scheme: You would be eligible to join the company's designated scheme after three months of employment. The company's contribution is 7.5% and your minimum contribution would be 5%. Company contributions rise to 11% over the first 7 years of your employment.
  • Private medical insurance: Paid after 3 months of service.
  • Holidays: 25 days plus statutory per annum. After five years' service, the holiday entitlement increases by one day per year up to a maximum of 30.
  • Free car parking.

Working as the Inventory and Customer Relations Advisor, your key responsibilities include:

  • Order Management: Accurately process customer orders and coordinate inventory replenishment to meet demand.
  • Stock Control: Ensure inventory levels are accurate, monitored, and replenished in a timely manner, avoiding stockouts and overstocking. Perform stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Vending & Consignment Operations: Manage vending machine stock and consignment agreements with ease, ensuring everything runs efficiently.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with both current and prospective customers through phone, email, and social media. Promote our products and services while addressing inquiries and providing top-notch support.
  • Sustainability Leadership: Take charge of our recycling program, ensuring the responsible disposal, repurposing, or recycling of materials in line with company sustainability goals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, and logistics to ensure smooth operations and delivery of customer orders.

As the Inventory and Customer Relations Advisor, you will have:

  • Experience: A proven track record in stock control or inventory management, with strong attention to detail and customer service experience.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with inventory management software and tools.
