Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (Negotiable for experienced Engineers)

Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Our client, a busy and respected Sussex-based mobility company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Hoist and Stairlift Service Technician to join their growing team. This is a hands-on, field-based role covering East and West Sussex, focusing on the servicing and installation of stairlifts and hoists.

What You’ll Do:

  • Service and install a range of stairlifts and hoists
  • Travel to customer locations across Sussex
  • Participate in an on-call rota (1 weekend in every 4) — paid extra per hour
  • Follow varied day work schedules
  • Deliver excellent customer service on every job

Working Hours:

Standard hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
On-call: 1 weekend in 4, with additional pay per hour

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience servicing and installing various types of stairlifts
  • Mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Relevant maths and technical qualifications
  • Strong practical skills and common sense
  • Willingness to learn new systems, including overhead hoists
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Clear communication skills
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
