Are you passionate about improving patient outcomes through high-quality patient moving and handling solutions? We are representing a leading provider of Mobility and Assisted devices as they expand with three newly created Business Development Manager roles.
The Opportunity
We are recruiting three Business Development Managers covering territories from the Midlands upward, supporting NHS and private hospitals with market-leading patient handling and mobility solutions.
You will focus on developing new and existing relationships across:
- Moving & Handling Teams
- Therapy Teams
- Procurement
- Infection Control
- Tissue Viability
- Nurse & Ward Managers
Key Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships
- Achieve agreed sales targets and territory objectives
- Analyse market trends to drive strategic territory growth
- Present product demonstrations and training to healthcare teams
- Collaborate with internal teams, including community handling specialists
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and clinical evaluations
- Uphold high professional, ethical, and communication standards
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a hungry, driven, and self-motivated individual who thrives in a field-based sales environment and is committed to exceeding expectations.
You will also bring:
- Experience in healthcare, medical sales, therapy, sports science, or related fields
- 2–3 years of relevant market experience (preferred)
- Strong planning, organisation and time-management skills
- Confidence in delivering presentations and clinical demonstrations
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proven negotiation ability and a track record of achieving targets
- Understanding of the UK healthcare market (highly desirable)
- Degree-level education (advantageous)
Role Structure
- Three territories available: North, Midlands, and South (focus: Midlands and above)
- Field-based with occasional overnight travel
- Hands-on clinical demonstrations supporting hospital teams
