Our client, a busy and respected Sussex-based mobility company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Hoist and Stairlift Service Technician to join their growing team. This is a hands-on, field-based role covering East and West Sussex, focusing on the servicing and installation of stairlifts and hoists.
What You’ll Do:
- Service and install a range of stairlifts and hoists
- Travel to customer locations across Sussex
- Participate in an on-call rota (1 weekend in every 4) paid extra per hour
- Follow varied day work schedules
- Deliver excellent customer service on every job
Working Hours:
Standard hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
On-call: 1 weekend in 4, with additional pay per hour
What You’ll Need:
- Experience servicing and installing various types of stairlifts or lifts
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Relevant maths and technical qualifications
- Strong practical skills and common sense
- Willingness to learn new systems, including overhead hoists
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Clear communication skills
- Full, clean UK driving licence
