Wheelchair Technician\\n\\nLocation: Surrey / South London\\n\\nSalary: £25,000 per annum – (negotiable)\\n\\nContract: Full-time (40 hours)\\n\\nTRusted Recruiter is recruiting on behalf of our client for a practical and motivated Wheelchair Technician to join a busy technical and workshop-based service.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nYou will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and reconditioning manual and powered wheelchairs and associated mobility equipment. The role supports both clinical and non-clinical teams and plays a key part in ensuring equipment is safe, compliant, and ready for use.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n• Servicing, testing, refurbishing, and reconditioning wheelchairs and mobility equipment\\n\\n• Preparing and configuring equipment prior to handover\\n\\n• Carrying out PAT testing and safety checks in line with regulations\\n\\n• Managing stock, booking in equipment, and preparing delivery loads\\n\\n• Supporting therapists and engineers during assessments when required\\n\\n• Maintaining accurate documentation and quality standards\\n\\nAbout You\\n\\n• Engineering or technical background (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent experience preferred)\\n\\n• Experience working with mechanical and/or electrical equipment\\n\\n• Knowledge of servicing, maintenance, and safety regulations\\n\\n• Comfortable working in a workshop or warehouse environment\\n\\n• Good attention to detail and ability to handle physical tasks\\n\\n• Team-focused with a strong commitment to quality and safety\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer\\n\\n• £25,000 salary (negotiable depending on experience)\\n\\n• Full-time, stable role within an essential service\\n\\n• Opportunity to develop technical skills and product knowledge\\n\\n• Supportive team environment with training provided
