Trusted Recruiter are recruiting on behalf of a growing and highly respected healthcare manufacturer supplying specialist patient handling and mobility solutions into NHS and private hospital environments. Are you from a Sports Science, Clinical, Therapy, Rehabilitation, Healthcare, or Medical Sales background looking to build a long-term career within the healthcare industry? Do you have the energy, personality, and drive to develop relationships within hospitals while making a genuine difference to patient care? Due to continued growth, our client is expanding their hospital sales division and is looking to recruit an ambitious Business Development Manager covering the South West region. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their commercial career or looking to transition from a clinical or sports science background into medical sales.
The Role
You will be responsible for developing relationships across NHS and private hospitals, promoting specialist patient moving, handling, and mobility solutions designed to improve patient outcomes and support healthcare professionals. You will work closely with:
- Moving & Handling Teams
- Occupational Therapists & Physiotherapists
- Tissue Viability Teams
- Procurement Departments
- Ward Managers & Clinical Staff
- Infection Prevention Teams
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop relationships within NHS and private hospitals
- Conduct product demonstrations, evaluations, and training sessions
- Identify new business opportunities across your territory
- Manage and grow existing accounts
- Support clinical teams with solution-based selling
- Attend exhibitions, workshops, and industry events
- Deliver against agreed sales and territory growth targets
Who We’re Looking For
We are particularly interested in ambitious, energetic, and personable individuals who can build strong professional relationships within healthcare environments. Suitable backgrounds may include:
- Sports Science Graduates
