We are looking for a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to play a key role in delivering digital banking and technology transformation initiatives.

As a Business Analyst, you will help shape and deliver solutions across digital channels, operational processes, vendor platforms, regulatory change programmes, and internal technology enhancements.
You will be responsible for translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements while supporting Agile delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Translate business needs into clear deliverables, including
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Specifications
- User Stories
- Acceptance Criteria
- Process Maps
- Data Mapping Documentation
- Facilitate workshops with business teams, technology teams, vendors, and control functions to clarify scope, dependencies, risks, and solutions.
- Support Agile delivery by preparing and refining user stories and maintaining a clear, prioritised backlog.
- Work closely with developers, testers, and vendors to ensure requirements are understood and delivered according to agreed acceptance criteria.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario creation, defect triage, and business sign-off activities.
- Assess the impact of change on customers, colleagues, systems, processes, controls, data, and regulatory obligations.
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions are effective, controlled, and compliant.
- Manage change requests, assumptions, risks, issues, and dependencies throughout project delivery.
- Contribute to post-implementation reviews by capturing lessons learned, benefits realised, and operational impacts.
What we're looking for
3–4 years' experience as a Business Analyst within banking, financial services, fintech, or another regulated technology environment.
Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques, including
- Process mapping
- Gap analysis
- Impact assessment
- Stakeholder analysis
- Experience creating business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar requirements and project management tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work across multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high-quality documentation.
- Understanding of operational risk, customer outcomes, data protection, and regulatory considerations within financial services.
