TrustedHousesitters is a fast growing, direct-to-consumer marketplace that is redefining pet care and travel. Here at TrustedHousesitters, we’re on a mission to make travel work better for pets, for their people, and for the global community of animal lovers who look after them. We’ve got big plans on becoming the world’s most-loved travel solution for pet people.
The Purpose: Turning our evolving ideas and expertise into engaging, scalable learning experiences that power a feedback-rich, high-performance culture at TrustedHousesitters.
The Role: As our Digital Learning Specialist, you’ll help turn the knowledge, ideas and expertise that exist across the organisation into engaging, accessible learning experiences. Your role will be to bring structure to that information and transform it into clear, scalable learning content that people can easily use and apply in their work.
You’ll initially focus on building and launching our core learning curriculum, helping translate existing materials, policies and processes into engaging digital resources that support onboarding, core company knowledge and manager development. Over time, this role will also play an important part in helping TrustedHousesitters grow into a stronger learning organisation, where insights, feedback and knowledge are shared more effectively across teams.
This is a creative and practical role, well suited to someone who enjoys turning ideas into reality, working with evolving inputs and building learning experiences that genuinely help people succeed.
What you’ll be doing:
- Transforming existing ideas, notes and “half-built” resources into polished, high-quality learning and development materials
- Designing and building engaging digital learning content across a mix of formats - including videos, infographics, guides, modules and assessments
- Owning and developing our learning spaces in Notion, creating intuitive, well-structured and easy-to-navigate content
- Working closely with subject matter experts to translate knowledge into practical, accessible learning experiences
- Supporting the development and launch of our line manager core curriculum and wider L&D toolkit
- Helping embed a feedback-rich, future-ready, high-performance culture through scalable learning & development solutions
- Support the People & Talent team in content development - ensuring brand consistency across our People & Talent initiatives
- Reviewing and auditing existing learning & development frameworks to identify gaps, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Tracking learning engagement and effectiveness, using insight to continually iterate and improve content
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience within a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment in a digital learning or building role
- Strong grounding in learning principles, instructional design and digital learning best practice for rapid learning and deployment
- Someone who loves building from the ground up - comfortable turning a blank page (or rough notes) into something impactful, engaging and useful
- Confidence in creating visually appealing, interactive content
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining content in Notion (or similar tools)
- Experience creating infographics and visuals in Canva (or other design tools)
- Confidence in video creation, using Vimeo, Loom (or similar)
- Excited by the potential of AI, using it thoughtfully to spark ideas, speed up creation and strengthen the impact of our learning content
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and an excellent communicator
- Comfortable working with limited constraints and finding smart, creative ways to make learning come to life
- Experience using Google Workspace is a plus
You’ll thrive in this role if…
- You enjoy taking ownership and shaping your own path.
- You’re energised by a fast-moving environment.
- You turn ideas into action.
- You’re comfortable with change and ambiguity.
ÂŁ45,000 - ÂŁ55,000 a year
Benefits
In addition to a competitive salary and bonus, we offer a range of benefits, including:
- Fully remote work
- Meaningful equity (gifted, not vested)
- Discretionary 10% annual bonus scheme
- 25 days holiday annually plus
