Our client is a respected organisation operating within the health and regulatory sector. They are looking to appoint an experienced Lawyer to join their Legal and Regulatory Affairs team, supporting complex investigations and prosecutions within a highly regulated environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with strong advocacy and litigation experience who enjoys a varied role combining investigations, written submissions, stakeholder management and tribunal advocacy.
As a Lawyer, you will:
- Manage a caseload of complex regulatory and disciplinary matters from investigation through to conclusion
- Draft high quality legal correspondence, witness statements and written submissions
- Advise internal stakeholders on investigations, evidence gathering and regulatory procedures
- Represent the organisation at tribunal hearings and disciplinary proceedings where required
- Liaise with external counsel, governing bodies and other key stakeholders
- Support wider legal matters including contractual and non-contentious advisory work
- Ensure matters are progressed efficiently in line with regulatory rules and deadlines
- Provide clear and practical legal advice to senior stakeholders across the organisation
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a current practising certificate
- Minimum three years’ PQE or equivalent regulatory legal experience
- Strong advocacy experience across tribunals or disciplinary hearings
- Experience managing litigation or regulatory investigations
- Excellent drafting and written communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters professionally
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Interest in health, governance or regulatory environments would be advantageous
