Our client is looking for a Relationship Manager to work directly with employers across East London, Essex and Kent, helping organisations make the most of their apprenticeship levy and develop practical workforce training strategies. This is a highly relationship focused role where you will meet employers face to face, understand their workforce priorities, and advise them on how apprenticeship funding can be used to support skills development and long term workforce planning. The role is home based, with travel to employer meetings across the region typically once or twice per week.
As a Relationship Manager, you will:
- Build strong relationships with employers across East London, Essex and Kent
- Meet organisations face to face to understand workforce priorities and skills gaps
- Advise employers on how to effectively use their apprenticeship levy funding
- Support organisations in developing practical training plans and workforce development strategies
- Identify suitable apprenticeship programmes that align with employer workforce needs
- Act as a trusted advisor on apprenticeship funding, standards and training opportunities
- Support employer engagement activities including meetings, presentations and networking events
- Maintain accurate records of employer engagement and opportunities within the CRM system
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working within apprenticeships, skills, training or workforce development
- Good understanding of the UK apprenticeship levy and apprenticeship funding
- Experience working directly with employers and building long term relationships
- Strong communication and advisory skills
- Ability to support organisations with workforce development planning
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across East London, Essex and Kent
