Job Overview
Main duties will involve:
- Provide network and firewall support within a secure data centre environment
- Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and bandwidth issues escalated from the service desk
- Monitor network performance using industry-standard monitoring tools
- Support installation and deployment of new equipment as part of upgrade and project work
- Manage and update tickets via the service management system, ensuring SLA adherence
- Participate in an on-call rota supporting a 24/7 service environment
Key skills, experience, and qualifications
- Proven experience in a Network Support or Network Engineer role
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including switching and firewalls
- Experience troubleshooting and managing network infrastructure in a data centre or enterprise environment
- Understanding of network monitoring tools
- Cisco CCNA (or equivalent experience) is essential; higher certifications are desirable
- Experience with VPNs, firewall configuration, and network security principles

Due to the nature of our client, you will need to pass a background check to BPSS and SC Standard. Applicants that do not meet this requirement cannot be progressed.
This is a fully on-site role, 5 days per week Mon-Fri. A valid UK Driving Licence is essential.
