Location: Hybrid – Bournemouth, United Kingdom

Salary: Competitive + Benefits

Working Arrangement:

  • During first 6 months: 5 days per week in office
  • Post-probation: Hybrid working – 3 days per week in office

Working Hours: Flexible start times between 08:00‑09:15 (no shift patterns). Finish times adjust based on start time, lunch breaks, and 9DFN participation where applicable.

What We Expect of You, Day to Day:

  • Attend refinement sessions, providing input and estimations from a testing perspective
  • Analyze requirements and design test conditions covering both positive and negative scenarios
  • Write and execute manual tests and analyze results
  • Capture test results accurately whilst providing sufficient test evidence, raising defects, and investigating failures
  • Provide updates on testing efforts, report and elevate issues
  • Understand and implement testing processes across multiple projects, ensuring software functions remain at the highest standards
  • Demonstrate new functionality and bug fixes to the Product Owner
  • Maintain appropriate levels of communication with the development team throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Adapt to new projects, working as part of a team or independently
  • Maintain and improve the test framework

Qualifications:

  • ISTQB Foundation level or higher
  • Degree with a background in computing, mathematics, science or similar
  • Working knowledge of automation testing tools and software (e.g. Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter)
  • Experience in programming language (Java)
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance/testing roles
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Playwright exposure would be ideal
  • Understanding of the Agile methodology and processes
  • Experience using Cucumber/ability to write test scripts in feature files using Gherkin language
  • AWS / Cloud exposure (Nice to have)
