Trust Payments have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Test Analyst to join our Trust Retail team.

Location: Hybrid- Bournemouth, United Kingdom

Salary: Competitive + Benefits

Working patterns: Mon - Fri 9 AM - 5 PM (3 days working from office)

How will you make an impact in this role?

We are seeking an Associate Test Analyst to join the Trust Payments Retail Team. In this role, you will work alongside the retail development and delivery team, playing a key part in ensuring the overall quality of our retail product set. Please note: due to the nature of the projects involved, this role requires the successful candidate to work onsite for the first 6 months, after which a hybrid arrangement may be considered.

What We Expect of You, Day To Day:

  • Attend requirement refinement sessions, contributing input and estimates from a testing perspective
  • Analyse requirements and design test conditions by collaborating with subject matter experts and developers to ensure expected outcomes
  • Write and carry out manual tests, capture results, and provide test evidence
  • Identify and report issues and risks associated with your work
  • Understand and apply testing processes to ensure software functions remain at the highest standards
  • Showcase new functionality and bug fixes to the product owner
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with the development team throughout the SDLC
  • Contribute to building a more automated approach to testing

Qualifications Required:

  • Interest in computing or other IT-related topics
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • High level of written and verbal communication
  • Awareness of software development methodologies and processes
  • Familiarity with productivity software such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, or Google Workspace

Desirable:

  • Experience in testing, quality assurance, software support, or relevant transferable experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computing, mathematics, science, or a related field
  • ISTQB Foundation Level qualification
  • Knowledge of software management tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Exposure to databases and querying data using SQL
  • Experience testing websites or mobile applications
